About

Homay Schmitz is a composer, arranger, and producer whose work spans video games, film, and television. Most recently, she composed the original score for LEGO® Horizon AdventuresTM, recorded at AIR Studios.

In film and television, her music can be heard in shows like Netflix’s T.I.M., the feature documentary Dettori, and the BBC One documentary Krept and Konan: We Are England, for which she recorded a 43-piece orchestra at Abbey Road Studios.

Alongside her screen work, Homay has collaborated with Jordan Rakei, writing string arrangements for his albums What We Call Life and The Loop. Her reworked orchestral versions were later performed at the 2024 BBC Proms and the Royal Albert Hall.

Her work also includes bespoke music for Apple’s Memories feature, as well as Channel 4’s On the Edge series, reflecting a style that can blend both orchestral and electronic layers into a distinctive textural sonic palette.
